Going into the 2009-10 season, reigning German BBL league champions EWE Baskets Oldenburg are leading the two-year rankings for Germany’s automatic bid for the Euroleague. But there have been changes made to the number of points clubs collect this season.
First we will start with the new points system for the 2009-10 season, which combined with the current points will determine which team qualifies automatically for the Euroleague since the German BBL champion does not get an automatic berth.
