Germany’s record international Patrick Femerling finally found a club for this season as the 34-year-old center signed with Turkish top flight club Antalya BSB.

During the summer, Femerling had not extended his contract with former German club Alba Berlin, who had two centers – Blagota Sekulic and Adam Chubb – under contract and did not want to sign a third player for the position.

Femerling proved at EuroBasket 2009 that he can still produce if given the opportunity, averaging a second-best 9.3 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 21 minutes as the veteran presence on the German national team in Poland.

The 2.15m big man brings plenty of hardware to Antalya having won three German titles with Alba, two Greek crowns with Panathinaikos as well as two Spanish championships and the Euroleague title with Barcelona.
